Panelists

Mumin Khan, current MIDS student, is a Software Engineer on the Europa Clipper project at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab. Mumin has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of La Verne. He plans to use data science to participate in climate-related science. 

Megan Pera, MIDS '18 alumni, is an Analytics Manager at Castlight Health where she works to measure and communicate the value of the Castlight Health product. She has a B.S. in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Working in health tech has allowed her to unite her two passions of healthcare and data science.

David Skarbrevik, MIDS '17 alumni, is a Data Scientist for Booz Allen Hamilton. David has a B.S. in Neuroscience from UC San Diego. After working in biomedical research, he joined MIDS to make a career change to data science.

Rahul Vaswani, current MIDS student, is a Senior Data Engineer at Neustari, Inc. where he spends his time performing ETL and writing statistical and machine learning models (mainly with Apache Spark). Rahul has a B.S. in Applied Math with a focus on Economics from UC Berkeley.
