Course Description

This course will consider how contemporary debates in regulation and corporate strategy intersect around the most timely issues that impact digital economy and society, such as encryption, content moderation, anti-trust, and national restrictions around supply chains of goods and ideas. Each week we will address one issue that is on the immediate agenda, and consider arguments that address speech, engineering, economics, and other relevant considerations. We will also assess the politics that surround and shape the debates, as well as consider the possible consequences of plausible outcomes.
