Centers within the School of Information bring together faculty, staff, and students around specific thematic areas within the information field. These centers coordinate related faculty research, student projects, related courses, public lectures, and scholarly symposia.

Center for Technology, Society & Policy
Multidisciplinary center promoting advancements in engineering ethics; technology and well-being; infrastructure, standards and governance; and digital citizenship.

Electronic Cultural Atlas Initiative (ECAI)
ECAI works toward a distributed virtual library of cultural information with a time and place interface.
