Natalia Timakova

Before being accepted to UC Berkeley, I had been engaged as a user experience researcher at Robin Labs, a Silicon Valley startup that develops advanced conversational user interfaces with state of the art natural language understanding techniques. It was at Robin Labs that I first got enchanted with random forests and decision trees.

My current specialization at Information School is data analytics and data visualization, and as a former journalist, I do know a thing about extracting true stories from raw, unstructured data.
