Focus

Improve the lives of millions of people around the globe, through advances in critical areas of science and technology such as conversational systems, accessibility, communication and user experiences.

Biography

My first interaction with computer science was writing a QBASIC program when I was 8 years old. I was amazed with the fact that I could create my own games, with my own rules and characters. Since then, my love for computer science has deepened and expanded to other domains such as biology, physics and artificial intellligence.

I work in a fast-paced lab within Microsoft Research, working on solving some of the hardest challenges in conversational artificial intelligence. Prior to that, I worked on scaling Skype capacity one order of magnitude, through re-architecture into a distributed cloud system. Before joining Microsoft, I took part in multiple startups involving machine learning and distributed systems.
