Suzanne Ginsburg
Sr. Design Manager, Yahoo!

What I studied at the I School:
HCI and user interface design.

What I do now:
Sr. Design Manager at Yahoo!

An interesting stop along my career path:
After graduating from college, I worked in Japan for 3 years, where I developed a passion for Japanese culture, food, and art.

Information issue that interests me today:
Privacy and security is of particular interest to me, as I see more and more of my personal information becoming available online.

How I stay connected to the iSchool:
I've had the opportunity to give students feedback on their projects, and show them how the iSchool has helped me in my career. On the alumni front, a small group of us from the Class of 99 like to get together for happy hour every so often.

iSchool memory:
Graduation was probably my happiest moment at the iSchool. I felt privileged to have our ceremony at the base of the Campanile, sheltered by the quirky London pane trees on a gorgeous spring day.

Something few people know about me:
Many people think I'm a vegetarian and I'm convinced it's because I lived and studied in Berkeley. If anything, I might want to be a fruitarian since I'm a fruit addict.
