Ryan will share stories that chart his career from a consultant to startups, to successfully building his own company (about.me), to creating and scaling design for an aggressively growing startup (Uber), to his current position at Facebook.
Ryan Freitas is the director of product design for news feeds at Facebook. He is the former director of product design at Uber and is also the co-founder and former chief product officer of about.me. He is a long-serving practitioner, consultant, and speaker within the interaction design and UX communities. As an advisor and seed investor, he remains an outspoken voice on how startups should approach product design.
