Startup project pitches from Info 290M. Information-Centric Entrepreneurship & Startup Strategies.
Thirteen student groups will present their pitches to an audience of startup founders and representatives of incubators like Techstars, Y Combinator, and Tumml, with a panel of angel investors as judges.
After studying the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, the students generated fifty ideas for new information-centered ventures. They selected the most compelling and viable 13 ideas and spent the rest of the semester developing plans for those new businesses.
