Enrolling in I School CoursesSummer SessionSummer sessions courses are open to all community members, as well as Berkeley students, through the normal summer session enrollment. UC Berkeley StudentsAny UC Berkeley student is welcome to enroll in courses at the School of Information during the fall and spring semesters, subject to enrollment restrictions and prerequisites. Community MembersCommunity members (non–UC Berkeley students, including students from other institutions) may enroll in individual I School courses during the Fall and Spring semesters through the UC Berkeley Extension concurrent enrollment program, subject to the following restrictions:

Full-time Students Non–UC Berkeley students who wish to apply for classes through concurrent enrollment on a full-time basis (12 or more units) must be formally invited by the School of Information. Our invitation only applies to regularly scheduled courses in the School of Information and not to other courses on the Berkeley campus.
